Your radio has the standard antenna plug that everyone else has...

You should have needed an adapter.

Is there certain years that need the PAC?

I keep getting mixed input on this. I have an 03 with Bose and I didnt use PAC. Radio sounds great and Bose sub hits good.

My 03 with bose did NOT require an antenna adapter for my pioneer nor did it require anything special for the speakers.
