Eh, the car monitoring abilities aren't that impressive. Basically, they just translate the data available from the GPS/speed sensor and put it in a pretty format.

I was hoping for something more like the HKS CAMP system, but I guess that's asking for too much.

 

I'm interested, also, is it only a 1 DIN unit, is there a separate navigaiton unit, or is it all in one?

the car monitoring abilities aren't spectacular compared to a lot of the special units you can get like the hks camp system but it's a pretty cool option to have anyway.
im not sure exactly how the hks camp system works but im pretty sure it can just hook up to a screen so maybe it's possible to hook that up to this screen too?

it's is 1 din for the audio/video/nav. a fully integrated unit. of course you can always add on a cd or dvd changer and a tv tuner as well. you can even get a unit which allowsyou to connect external devices through rca cables, such as an md or ipod.


i hope to have more information about availabilty by the end of this week or if not this week the end of next week. for those interested ill keep you informed when i find out more.
