I've seen a few threads with pictures of mirror mounts. They are all custom jobs. Is there a mass produced mount that is available for the Z's mirror post? I would preferably have the radar installed as discreetly as possible. Any pictures of your setups are very much appreciated.

 

Sorry I can't find my pictures, but if you do a search using Passport 8500 or Radar Mounts, mounts designed by Mike should come up. He also does the Visor Warning "cover ups". I like the way mine fits. Went to Ace Hardware and got some black ***** to replace nuts Mike uses. Good Luck!

I bought one from Mike for $20 shipped. Great service and quality of materials are top notch. My guess is this mount will fit cars that mount to the windshield with a round base.

 

If you buy the bracket from Mike and order the escort 8500 on-line, what else do you need to buy in order to do the hard-wire install to the rear view mirror?

I have this mount for my 8500. It is very nice and clean looking. People ask me if it came from nissan like that!

 

well i ask because I already have this for my escort. If the escort and valentine you a similar clip i dont have to buy another mount. That way I can use the escort mount for my valentine!
