Default Anyone try the short Antennas?

Has anyone tried these shorter antennas that are all over ebay?

Is there any loss in reception of radio stations?

I bought a short antenna from a guy on this site. It screwed right on nice and flush and works as well as the original. You'll have to do a search if you're interested.

I prefer the S2K/MDX antenna. Its short and looks nice and stock. Screw the old one off and then on the new one.

Sorry About That! Should have been jscspeed.com. It is the antenna that comes up when their site comes up. EVO8 "Perrin Shorty". Awesome @ $27.00

Forgot where I got this one, but do a search for "billet" antennae and you should find it. Last time I went to the site they had other options. I got it back in April when I bought the car.

Reception isn't quite as good, but about the only problem I have is in searching for stations. In other words, the search function skips alot of stations since the reception is a little off. I don't really have much problem picking up the stations once I'm on the correct one.

Edit: I had to install a rubber grommet since there was no reception what-so-ever when screwed down all the way.
