Default Installing V1 Radar Detector

i'm now installing a valentine1 radar in my 350z. i don't like to plug it into the lighter outlet so i'm trying to connect it to my direct power. what's the best way to connect to the driect power????

run the power line along the headliner at the top of the windshield

down the driver side A-pillar

to the fuse box

find the fuse for something that will come on when you turn the car on and go off when you turn the car off... maybe rear wiper... remove that fuse

using the V1 power adapter, expose a little of the power lead and use the fuse to push the exposed wiring into the fuse slot

make sure to ground the power adapter to something nearby

All done!

thanks...will this shorten the life of that fuse that i'm connecting the lead to???

shouldn't harm the fuse at all....
