Default Where's and easy switched 12v source?

I'm going to install an AEM air fuel analyzer this weekend and was hoping to find a nice, easy 12v switched power source that I can hook into. I don't want to have to tap into any wires if I can avoid it. Pictures would be great too.

I know you said you didn't want to tap into any wires, but you can find switched pretty easily from the back of the radio.....Also there should be something in the fusebox...but somebody else may be able to extend on that.

Try the cig. lighter plug. Or, if it's a temporary thing, you can just stick the wire under the blade of one of the fuses in the fusebox. I'd suggest either the cig lighter fuse or the radio one.

DON'T tap the wires from your radio. Your radio needs that power to function the way that it was meant to. Taping the radio is a simple solution but please don't do it. Me personally, i can't stand it when people tap the radio wires for an acc. source. What you need to do is get under your steering wheel and tap your ignition. Your factory ignition wire is a nice 10 ga. wire and should be the wire that you use as a acc. source. It may seem like a large task but it really isn't. I can tap the ignition wire under my steering wheel in about 5 min. No ********, it's that easy. Make sure that you use a proper volt meter to find your acc. source. Call your local automotive sound system and security outlet for a wiring diagram that can steer you in the right way. Ask your dealer for some advice. They may or may not help you but if you came to me at my work place i would at no charge. Please take the time to do it right. You won't reget it. Do it right the first time so that your not going to have to do it again the next. Double work equals to wasted time.

F.Y.I. I'm a certified M.E.C.P. installer for Wizard Car Stereo Shop here in Hawaii where i'm located. We do custom installs, standard reciever, and car alarm installs. We are not a high profile shop but we are the best shop here in Hilo, Hawaii. We have been in buisness for about four years so we are a fairly new company, but we are professionals none the less.

Oh yah,
One more thing. DO NOT cut your ignition wire at all!!! Use appropriate wire taps sutible for a 10 ga. wire. Your local dealer should know what you need. I wish i could post up some pictures of what you need to do but i don't know how to do that. I don't have a digital camera anyways...not yet anyways.

The cig lighter has two wires running to it - black and red. The red is a switched positive.

WHY TAP THE CIG. WIRE? I KNOW THAT IT'S EASY BUT IT'S SO GHETTO. DO IT RIGHT OR GO FIND SOMEONE TO DO IT FOR YOU.
