Working with a big sound system from old car
I have 2 Cerwin Vega 12” subs and a matching 1000w amp from my previous car(Acura tsx). If I install the subs with a box that fits off of eBay, would the rest of the Bose speakers be able to keep up with the bass level. I’ve been told to lose the 12’s and go to 10’s or lose one 12” and the amp and buy a smaller amp to support the single 12. Wanted to see what you guys think. Having a struggle finding the best solution on a budget

Your amp should have a an adjustable gain level that acts as a volume control. A lot of head units now also feature an equalizer so you can +/- 10 db or so to each segment . Still that's a lot of sound for a car this size.
