if I was going to get a head unit with the screen I still think the Double Din LCD kenwood looks cooler, this one is pretty good too tho

 

I think the ones that Eclipse is releasing are better

Wow, those are nice only bad thing is Eclipse is high end stuff, Im guessing those HU will cost 2-3k If I can snag one of those Kenwoods for around 1k in the next couple months I could somehow justify that

 

i've been looking into this HU.
this was supposed to be released summer 2002, but its not out yet.
or may it is, but wasnt 'till last month (i emailed kenwood and they said summer 03)
they had it on their site winter 02, and the price was a bit more than $2000.
well it disappeared like in a week tho..

i like the eclipse one better too..
but will it be released in US market?
well i like Kenwood's design better

 

Tweeter's in Huntsville, AL says they will be recieving the Eclipse AVX 2494 soon with a list price of $2300. This is the double DIN DVD with 20gb hard drive.

 

The unit pictured above is the Kenwood 915, and will list 03/01/04 for $2300.00. It may be sometime until it even starts to come down.

While the double din 6.5 Kenwood Excelon DDX7015, will list for $1399.00.. Big difference.

While the Eclipse has the 20GB HD, you can buy a Kenwood Keg 20gb for $350.00, and 7015 has been designed to provide touchscreen commands to the Keg. All for $700.00 less.

I think I will go with the Kenwood.
