Default Sirius in Roadster

I'm a newbie when it comes to car audio. Anyways i just purchased the new kenwood double din dvd unit. Want to add sirius.

My question is can you mount the sirius antenna on the dash like XM? Remember talking to someone at circuit city one time and he mentioned that you cannot mount sirius antennas on dash.

It shouldn't affect the reception , the newer antennas are smaller in size ,did you get a smaller antenna I have the large one ,some people put them on the back strut bar inside and it didn't affect anything.

Music Keg is great , have 105 albums on it so far with about 30 more if needed , one of the best things I put in my car , no messing around with cd's anymore , just waiting for the new double din Kenwood unit to get here.Sirius is great I have a hard time trying to decide waht to listen to sometimes , good luck

mapleleaf

i got the double din installed today, it's really nice.

do you think the 10 keg is good enough, i'm thinking 20 or 5000 songs is a little overboard even though price difference is small.

how do you like your kenwood components? i'm going to upgrade little by little so curious about what i should do 1st.

I had no choice in the 10gig , that's all they sell in Canada , but I have deleted and added so many tracks , that I probably never fill the thing anyway, when I was at the Kenwood Dealer show the marketing guru said that the Keg will be able ( who know's when) put video's music on the hard drive !!!

Well you are changing the HU
How about component speakers or Amp?
Do you have Nav?
Upgrade the sub?

I kind of did everything at once , stripped the car inside and reinstalled what I have know, the only thing I changing isthe Head unit I want 5.1

Send me a pic when it's complete
