Actually...thats a bad thing to do. Kenwood's have an internal 40 hr timer that starts as soon as it sees a ground. If you just ground the wire, eventually the unit will refuse to display the picture. You will still get audio, but no video. So you will need to take the wire off ground, wait an undisclosed amount of time, then reground it before it can work again. I have a kenwood Kvt 911dvd and what i did to get around this is to use the Ant. wire ( Solid blue wire) to pop a relay that takes the e-brake wire off ground every time i turn on my radio. The solid blue ant. wire only activates when you switch over to the radio mode. What this does is reset the internal timer. BTW..you didnt " here" this from me either..hehe
If anyone is interested in how i did it, drop me a PM.

I do not have 2 screens, at this time. Although they are coming.

If I had 2 video screens, though, with only this head unit, I would NOT be able to watch 2 different sources at the same time.

If I had a seperate video source, yes with the help of a external video switcher.

I was not aware of this timer, there are several ways to bypass playback locking, but I have no idea what any of you are talking about.

Default New Tires Nitto 555 245/40 & 275/40

I ended up getting my Nitto 555 Fron 245/40 and Rear 275/40.

Nitto Website for my Specific Tires

I got the street compund for durability, and I just came off Big Willow and they did VERY well.

I got my tires here at Chatsworth Tire, Check them out, good prices, great service, ask for Bob and tell them Joe with the Blue 350 Track Z sentchya, I've been dealing with them and the owner for years

Yes, they do let the rear out more than I would like, and if I didn't run VDC through nasty turns I would more than likely NOT toelrate it at all, however the rest of the time these tires rock once they are at "temperature" and "desired pressure"

Now I need the suspension configuration to keep up with these tires.

This thing (kenwood ddx 7015) will not "fit" in the "stock" location as it is intended to occupy the space allowed for "stocK" double din OEM stereo systems.

If you want the screen to be there, there are some screens that will fit in there however it will be the screen only, and you will still need to install something in place of the stock stereo with a fit kit.

I've been very happy with the position of my screen. I used to have the kenwood 911dvd, which you can see from some of my previous pics.

it placed the screen higher, but when i don't want outsiders to know it's there is was much more visible, than the 7015.

let me know and I could find a configuration of something that will do what you are asking.

You indicated that you were going to hook up a rear camera. Does the Kenwood DDX 7015 support that option? If so, I would like to know how and where u plan on puting the camera. Do you have a specfic cammera in mind?
I plan on getting the same setup only I have the JL stealthbox and Jl500/1 amp awaiting this head unit. THx

i know someone who had this in the stock navigation location (the pocket was slightly modified....but not a serious project). he took it all out cause the stereo ended up giving him problems. he now has all alpine stuff...said his stuff is much better when it comes to precise tuning.

i like the looks of yours....i would just go with jl audio subs.

This unit takes "video" input, so if that is a rear-view camera or other, and you setup the unit to "auto" switch to video source, and that switch is your reverse to your rear view, yes it will work.

I don't have a specifc camera in mind as of yet, there are dozens out there, all you have to decide is where you DONT want the camera to go, and find out how much it's going to cost to put it where YOU want it.

I can come back with some ideas if you like
