Default Radar/Laser Intercepters-Jammers

Has anyone tried the radar/laser intercepters that reflect the signal back to it's source and screw up the readings. According to the ads,it makes your vehicle virtually invisible as a result of the jamming. The other thing I see ads for is the plastic license plate cover and sprays that make your license plate unreadable to photo radar. Do these things really work?

I would not waste any of my money on any passive radar or laser jammer like the ones offered from the Rocky Mountain company. There have been a few independent tests done and they have conclusively shown that these devices do absolutely crap. If you really want to have protection you need an active jammer. Check this link below for more info:

Blinder Radar Jammer

But I wouldn't get this either. They are illegal in every state and a smart cop would be able to tell when something is interferring with his radar gun. The device's actions would actually draw attention to you so take it as you will...

As for the license plates. Why would you want to cover them up when they look so good!

laser jammers are ok but radar jammers of any sort are illegal.

ZxRage,
Thanks for the info, I think Rocky Mountain is the company whose ads I have seen. I've always been reluctant to get one of these things they seem too good to be true. Actually in the past the few radar detecters I have had seem to give off too many false signals. Sort of like the boy who cried wolf, they would go off so often I began to ignore them. Eventually, I just stopped using them. The last 2 I had were Bel. But, today it sounds like the Passports and Valentines are much more effective. Sorry to hear of your string of incredibly bad luck.
