You can find it on ebay. It's a proximity alarm that uses microwave to detect movement around and inside your car. The module itself is like $10 bux, the alarm is like $120+ (has a lcd pager to tell you if someone is near or inside the car)
It is possible to use an aftermarket single stage motion sensor (or proximety sensor) with the factory alarm. Just tie the alarm output in with the hood pin wire (diode isolate them) . This way, whenever the sensor is tripped it makes the car think the hood was opened and the alarm will go off. There are how tos on this, mostly for installing shock sensors!

I had a dei viper with a proximity sensor in my 325ic it worked great, anytime someone reached in it was warn with a chirp and if they stayed for more then a couple seconds the alarm would go off.
