Default CD Changer addon to stock Bose

I've just bought a 350Z Base, and one of the salesmen I spoke with mentioned that the stock head can control a 6 disc changer. I haven't found information on this anywhere else, so I was just wondering if someone can confirm this either way. Thanks!

you can buy the stock 6 disc cd changer from courtesyparts.com and it supposedly works fine with the stock HU.

I should have mentioned, I have the Bose system in mine. That changer is for the non bose systems.

I have an alpine 6 disc changer that worked with my stock radio from my old accord, it wasn't an FM tuner changer either.

Does anyone know if the stock Bose system has a changer control pin?

I didn't think you could get the Bose system in anything but the Touring.

If you find that there are no CD changers you might consider a MP3 player. Carries about 2500 songs at a time.

I hooked up mine to an Alpine HU and lost my stock HU.

Good Luck..

You guys are right, I don't have the Bose system. I had thought the stock system on the Base model was a Bose, but I guess it is some Nissan rebranded thing.

Okay, I think I'm deciding on putting a decent aftermarket stereo system in there after looking at some of the cool pics of the setups some people on this site have.

I really liked the install the guy did where he mounted a sub in the bottom corner of his hatchback on the drivers side.

Does anyone know of any CD changers that could fit in one of the small storage compartments behind the driver?
