ID Max vs. Adire Audio Brahma

ID Max vs. Adire Audio Brahma
I've been thinking of upgrading the subs to 12's. the 10's i have now sound great but they can't keep up with any systems i've heard with comparable 12's.
the two subs i'd be thinking of getting are either Image Dynamic MAX's or Adire Audio Brahma's. I've heard both are great subs as far as being loud and having good sound quality while pushing hard. Assuming i'd be pushing 500watts to each sub does anyone have any opinions on which is the better sub to go for (or maybe even another type of sub - would a JL Audio w6v2 keep up with these subs?)?
thanks,
Rajiv

The W6v2 is not going to "keep up" with either of those subs at higher levels. I would think the brahma is your best bet of the listed subs. You should also check out Elemental Designs A-series subs. They are great subs, very close to a brahma performance wise and a bit cheaper. The IDMax is still the best looking of all of them, but not the cleanest or loudest, assuming all are set up properly.

With only 500w, you're definetly going to want to go with the IDMax or a-series Elemental Designs. The Brahma is very inefficient. I think they're all so close to eachother tho, that I you should just got with the least expensive. Oh, and the w6v2 is not in this class.
