Alpine TME-M760 in factory screen location?
Okay, I know I've seen *tons* of people on this board install the M760 in the stock location, but since the search function is down I can't find them. (Grr...) Can people post some pics of their M760 install in the factory location?
Here's my deal: I have a 2004 350Z without nav, which apparently has a differently shaped cubby hole than the 2003 models. My installer could not figure out a clean way to do the install in the 2004 cubby hole without disassembling the lcd screen out of it's plastic case. I don't want to do this, so I'm considering picking up a 2003 model cubby hole assembly and putting that in my car. From the pics I've seen, people have put the M760 lcd unit in the 2003 cubby hole without needing to disassemble the lcd unit at all.
Does this sound about right? And I'm only assuming the 2003 cubby hole will mount in a 2004 car with no problems. I seem to recall someone mentioning it previously, but once again... I can't search to find it.

Here it is:

Note this for a 2003. I don't think this will work in a 2004.

Here's a pic. I have an '03. No problem fitting the screen in the cubby hole. Do NOT disassemble the screen. You shouldn't have to.
I did have to make a very minor modification to the cubby hole and trim the rubber floor lining of the cubby, but that's it--NOT a big deal at all. I haven't seen an '04 install, so I can't comment there.
