I haven't bought one, but has anyone taken apart the remote display from a V1? I was thinking of trying to install the arrows from it in the steering wheels, on the left side in opposite of the cruise controls. Any thoughts on how feasible that is?

I was also hoping to buy just that piece of the wheel in case I screwed it up, but my dealer thinks it's only avaiable as part of the whole steering wheel.
