And that's it... you can find more pics during the install at www.zreloaded.com/audio.htm

Also, I know the vinyl on the sub boxes is terrible. I got so tired of trying to get it right that I said screw it and threw them in for now. I need to tighten it up... I couldn't cover it without pleating it though - like you would wrap a birthday present. Anyone have any tips or know any websites with tips on covering with vinyl?

Thanks!
Chris

Dude you suck!! I was looking for a pair of BA Pro 6.5's and cant find them anywhere around here. I had a set in a truck and they were AWESOME!! I know you have got to love them. I'm just jealous. Hopefully one day I can finish my system and get my interior back in the car. I'm getting tired of driving in a tin can. I never thought I would miss carpet soooo much. Sucks working 2 jobs to have cool toys, but I gotta do what I gotta do.

One last question......How does it sound?

looks good... waiting to install my BA 6.5pro as well.

by the way i noticed your crossovers mounted to your amp rack. how did you manage to run the speaker wire to the doors? through the molex plug?

Are you heating up the vinyl with a heat gun at all? I'm no expert by any means but I was watching my installers wrap my enclosures w/vinyl, and they told me that when the vinyl's heated up really well, you can "mush" out any pleating:

I assume your using a resin to have the vinyl stick to tthe boxes as well. I noticed that my installers would stretch and wrap the vinyl making sure it stuck to the enclosures first. Then, they would just heat up the specific areas that had bubbles or pleating:

Hope that helps!

thanks yoon - i think that's the problem... someone else mentioned it to me also! i'm going to give it a go this weekend.

everyone else - thanks... it sounds incredible... so clean. this is my first car where i had the speakers amped and the difference is night and day. the ba's are phenomenal.

big sexz - i bought them brand new on ebay for like $300!! =X
they are such a complete system, I was shocked how well packed they were and what came with them. simply awesome.

thanks for the help and kind words!

yeah they get pretty hot, but never hot enough to cause a problem with the reciever or the cd itself
