Alpine makes the only fully integrated HU with XM tuner built in. Crutchfield has a description.

Terk makes the smallest antenna, the XMicro. It's about the size of a small matchbook.

There's lots of how-tos about removing the dash, etc. in this section.

For more XM information, check out www.xm411.com

For a add-on XM Radio, I just installed an XM Commander in my Z with stock head unit. I purchased it from Grubbs Infiniti. It's now 99 and 2 free months service and activation waived.

I installed the XM Commander display in my NAV area and the actual tuner in the rear sub area.

Thanks for the reply. Any pics of your install, especially antenna location, and do you have an 03 or 04 dash design?

I have a 2003 Brickyard with stock HU. I installed the XM Commander tuner in the sub location and ran the display and FM modulator wire to the dash.

does it have a decent sound quality or is it a FM modulated sound? also when you place the strut cover back on how is your reception?

anyone have pics of it mounted somewere other than in the NAV compartment or the HU area?

It's pretty decent. Not as good as a CD, but works well.

I'm sure a direct interface would be better, but with the stock HU, that's not a choice right now. There is a company working on a direct (CD) interface, www.carstereohelp.com

I can't tell a difference in reception with or without the strut cover. It's just plastic and won't block the signal. There would problably be a difference with the antenna mount on the car rather than inside, but I did not want to do that.

Dr. Bonz has a picture with his Pioneer remote display mounted below the enviornmental controls.

I mounted the antenna (2 sided tape) right in the middle of the dash up where the front windshield meets with the dash. If I dont point it out, you wont know its there. It fits and more inportantly blends in perfectly.

The commander is an awesome 30 minute upgrade that anyone can do. It is not the loudest thing out there, but it is pretty clean.

Can you give me exact details on how to remove the sunglass holder above the window so I can do the same install of an XM redio? I have tried pulling on it but it doesn't budge.

I didn't do it, so I am not 100% on this, but I think you have to take the lights out first, then you can remove the holder.

Is it possible to contact the person who did this for you?
