Default Custom Sub Enclosures for the Z???

Does anyone know where you can purchase 10" or 12" subwoofer enclosures made especially for the Z? That space between the seats and the rear strut is a pretty awekward space to fill.

Pearls box looks cool and probably sounds good.

JL makes a steath box that goes between the brace and seats. It comes with the 10W3's though. Not enough room in the box for the W6's or W7's.

You could make your own. I am working on mine as we speak. And, if you don't count the price of the dremel, the jig saw, and the weekends I've wasted that I should spent riding... *sigh*

Heres mine....different spot...Mine is still removable though. The tabs on the trim plate pop off and there are blocks on the sides of the box so I can pull it out for the track or to access my spare..

correct...but the best sound comes when you fire the subs off of the rear.

but, your box is awesome! make me one that is exactly the same, but fires towards the back of the car!

also....if you are looking for awesome boxes....extremely light boxes....custom made.....call nazar in NH. they are incredible! many people on this site have them.

the best sound is how you like it ... I always try to make a lil' mdf test box and then try my sub firing in each direction.

that face the rear rule of thumb is not always true.... especially when they didnt use your ears to make the rule.

you know any sub enclousure in a hatchback that bounces the soundwaves off the hatch creates a horn loading effect and gives you free DB gains whether they fire towards the rear of the hatch or fire up towards the hatch like MIAPLAYA'S does.

I bet MIAPLAYA'S box pounds the $hit out of that car!!! i think that setup looks pretty sweet. My $.02

that is true. me, personally, i think the best sound is when it fires off the back. i've had it fire to the back, to the roof, to the front...at angles...i like it firing off the back. it's a more full and crisp to me.
