how much can the speakers handle... over powering is better than underpowering (cleaner sound... just dont turn the volume **** all the way) i always liked the JL audio's 300/4 basically 75 watts at RMS or check out PPI new selection of amps, and you cant really go wrong with Phoenix Gold amps. DO NOT GET A SONY AMP!!!!

http://www.woofersetc.com/store.asp

http://www.purecaraudio.com/

http://www.thezeb.com/?source=google

the top are the links where i usually buy from but the cheapest i think you will find them for is on ebay if you dont care about warranty.

Before Everybody here tells you how great JL Audio is i throw my $.02 in.

I like Audiobahn amps and subs they look killer and out power just about Any amps out there. I will be running an Audiobahn A1500HCT amp that will push 2000 watts x 1 in one ohm mono!
check it out!

You might want to consider US Amps if your looking for that kind of power. Much better amps IMO but pricey as hell. Link: www.usamps.com

Do Not buy a Crunch amp the sound quality is horrible.

Sounddomain has a 4-channel PG Tantrum-amp for like $239.

What do you think - good buy?

Btw when my bro was shopping for speakers we pretty much agreed that Infiniti speakers are the best - should I go for those or - darn I do not even know what kind of speakers I have - we will see - if I install amp will factory speakers with Bose model will they handle another 50-100 watts...

The way I went about picking out my system was by looking at the results of various stereo competitions.

For tight bass and amps that kick, check out Memphis Audio. They have the awesome clean responsive bass.

For the mids and highs, I listened to Focal PK, Alpines, MB Quart Premium and Memphis. The MB Quart sounded the cleanest, and IMHO delivered the best sound for me. This is totally subjective area.

As far as Headunits go, the competition crowd typically use Professional Eclipse, and that's what I went with.

I couldn't be happier.

While on this topic, what do you guys think about Hifonic amps. They seem to have good specs and reasonable prices.

i have recently bought from Sounddomain on a couple of occasions and have been very pleased with their service and selection. I primarily choose them due to the fact they are authorzed internet resellers for almost all their prodcuts. some internet sites may not back the warranty of the prodcut if something goes wrong.

by the way, i picked up a Pheonix Gold Tantrum series amps from sounddomain and have been very happy with them.
