has anyone put an aftermarket sub in that slot, i know that if aimed at the rear hatch a 10 can hit very hard, but i would be curious to know how it sounds when it fires into the back of your seat??? anyone know?

 

Its not too bad IF you have a proper box built behind it, which is very difficult according to my installer. Nothing compared to box on the trunk though. The original installer put in and I had to get it paid to rip it out. I'll take some picture of my setup for you tomorrow. SOunds great! My advise don't do it.

I made my own MDF/Fiberglass box..
was a *****.. but it sound good even with cheapo old AudioBahn.

 

thanks for the input, at this point in my z career all the money i have is going into making the thing even faster than it already is while still keeping it NA cuz of the stupid gas prices. if and when i put one in i will probably have it rear firing in the trunk somplace.
