Sub in Stock Enclosure
Today I finally got around to installing my Sony 10 sub in the stock enclosure. I have a 100 watt Pioneer amplifier and was afraid to hear how it would sound after reading so many poor reviews from the others that tried this before me.
Instead, I am quite pleased. I haven't heard the Bose stereo, but this set-up for $75 made a big difrerence over the base stereo and brings the old Sammy Hagar tunes to life. I threw a $2 bag of fiber fill from Walmart to cut down on the tin can effect and it seems to have done the trick.
Yea, I am 40 something and no longer the audiophile that I once was, but I would recommend this to others who are not in search or perfection(just a little bass).

The fiber fill is a bulk material used to stuff pillows. It is in the sewing section at Walmart. I just laid it in the back of the enclosure.
