Default Farenheit lcd and dvd perfect fit

So the Farenheit 7000 screen is literally a perfect fit! I picked up the Farenheit DVD 34 player and something is wrong. Anyone ever have issues with it being only Black and white?

I'm seriously baffled! Why is it only B&W when the screen is color and player is color also.

Similar experiences? I checked all the settings and still have no clue.

Are you in NTSC or PAL mode?

Farenheit in the U.S. is NTSC. See if it's switch to NTSC.

It's in NTSC mode. I think the DVD player is defective because I hooked up a standard DVD player to the screen and it works flawlessly.

Has anyone used a Farenheit dvd player have issues with theirs?

I asked the same question and the answer on the board was 1 input vs 2 inputs. On their site, the dimensions are all wrong. The 7000 size fits perfect although on everywhere states that it's larger. I believe they are identical sizes. Why pay ~$300 vs ~$190 for the same screen for the extra input(unless you need it). The other way around the extra input is just get a dvd player that has an aux input rather than spend another $100 for it to be part of the screen.

I tell you . . . it's amazing how it fits perfectly(in an 03 console). The 04+ you guys have to make the mods to it. It's actually a pretty good screen. It states the resolution is 2400x480 pixels. It's made in Korea which I have more faith in their gadgets vs some other countries lately. Korea is definitely stepping up in the tech gadget quality.

I'm pretty content with it and my install. Now to get another cheap DVD player(hopefully not made in China again)

I would say...test both components with something else....

Plug the DVD to a TV...if that works plug a dvd player or something to the LCD.

Try different cable.

What type of mods do you have to do with the 7000 to make it fit in an 04 nav slot?

I have an 03 and no mods at all. It literally fits like a glove. As for the 04, from what I've read, it's easier to just go and buy an 03 nav compartment because of the way the cover flips. I finally got it to work and it was the issue with the DVD player since I had to take it apart and all. It's pretty sweet now it's all set up with the sound to match it.
