Source of ACC controlled electric power
Hey, does anyone have an easy to tap sourc of ACC switched power? Right now, I'm using the power outlet in the back as my source of switched power, but with a wideband O2, Radar, Performance meter, cell phone charger, and the occasional AC converter, I need another source of switched power.
Anybody have one? (Preferably in the Driver's foot well?)

Re: Source of ACC controlled electric power
You best bet would be to use a 30amp relay. Wire the coil up to the ACC wire so that when ACC is on the relay is energized. Then, tap the battery directly with the common pin of the relay (#30). With this setup you will have up to 30amps availible whenever the car is on (Coming from pin #87 of the relay). This is by far the best way to pick up power in this car, due to the low fuse ratings on the IGN, ACC, and 12VDC wires in the ignition system. (10-15 amps each) Just remember, fuse your power wire!
