Looking for a security system
I need to find a good two way paging security system for my car. Need help and price is a little bit of an object. If you guys could tell me about some that would be great. And maybe the range on the two way paging systems. I have been looking at the ones with the LCD keypads. Thanks

I have one of the Viper 2 ways and it works fine. The LCD can tell you if the door is open, trunk open, hood open, glass broken, door unlocked or if the car is on. You can also set it up to either warn you with an audible alarm or to vibrate. Range is good and batteries last about 1-2 months.
The downside of the remote is the size. It is large and heavy and if you loose it your screwed. My set up only has 1 FOB and a replacement is pricey.

I have the Viper 690, it works great. Yes the keybad is bulky but it has a nice clip on it.
Downside is it sucks batteries about monthly, however, I fixed that last week by buying rechargeables. Works great so far.
I put 4 sirens in my cars, 2 piezo's inside, 2 sirens out.
Gl. If you want autostart with the 6Spd, get the compustar, only one allowed by state law for sticks that I know of.
