I have a blaupunkt ME3 DVD Player and can anyone help me out in hardwiring the player??? I'm gonna put it in the glove box but I'm not sure where to tap for power.....I was thinking about the cig socket behind the seats. Does anyone know how I would do this?? do i just cut strip then crimp the wires together so that the player will only turn on when i turn on the car?? thanks

 

Exactly what I did..
Works great..

 

yup, you can pull the whole thing out to access the wires.
Snake the wires thru the the socket opening to the bottom of the glove box (pull the panel behind the driver seat off for more access)

 

With the 7" LCD screen in the stock nav box will the door still close to hide the screen.
