I'm in the process of installing everything, but I'm using a Xenarc 7" touchscreen LCD and a Shuttle XPC computer.

Murrman, what do you use to find out about traffic?

I use www.sigalert.com
I live in LA, CA and the traffic updates are very frequent.
It sounds like you are on your way there with your system.
I didn't use the shuttle pcs because of the lack of upgrades, but you have to find out what works best for you.
Good luck.

Default Love it!

I've got the 7" lilliput with 1ghz epia motherboard, 512mb ram, 120gig drive, DVD Reader/CD-RW, Wifi, GPS.

I'm still working on the software side of things. I'm building my own custom solution for easy touch screen use. But even with the 3rd party apps and a remote of some sort it makes it usable and fun. I'll post more pics when I'm further along but here is a small mockup of the mp3 player interface.

Murrman do you have any pics of the inside of your car? I'd love to see what it looks like and how you did the wiring. I am interested in putting a PC in my car too but I don't know how to do any wiring and may have to get that professionally done. How do you hook up the PC to the speakers?
