Way to many to list. I personally like the following brands:

Image Dynamic
Memphis
Boston
Resonant Engineering
Kicker
Rainbow

It depends on the type of music you listen to. I personally like JL w6v2 line. Xtant makes really tight subs also.

There are quite a few different units. I would have to agree with some of the others--here are some that I have used before:

Image Dynamics ID MAX
Resonant Engineering xxx 15"
Adire Brahma B15
Elemental e10a
JL Audio 12w7

I'm working on a possible enclosure for the xxx--the other subs I got rid of. I've been a fan of xbl^2 ever since I had my brahma. The JL 12w7 was nice, but it won't sound right unless you have a very competent front stage because it only plays a very short range of frequencies. In the right setup the w7 is down right destructive.

Hope this helps;

ravi

I've got a JL 10w7 and am completely blown away by the sound quality and responsiveness of the sub.

I had two 10w3's prev to this and they don't come close to comparing.

jl w7 is quite possibly the best sub ive ever heard ... for the money ... you can put a 10w7 or even an 8w7 in the z and unless you wanna compete it will be more than enough bass for you ... plus it is so responsive ... youll hear and feel bass you didnt know existed

Elemental Designs
Image Dynamics IDQ series
Adire

And on and on... You really have to just listen to a bunch with your favorite music and see what sounds best. I went with a single 10" Elemental Designs in my car run with a TRU Technology amp, and it's fantastic.
