Default Where to buy Helix Amps? and some system planning

I see theautophile.com is the US distributor, but their dealer located does not seem to work. If there is a place in my area, I'd love to go check them out in person (I am in NY).

I emailed the autophile.com as well, but figured you guys might be able to give me a answer before they do.

My plans are for a simple system geared for overall accuracy and staging rather than out and out bass, spl, etc. To that end, I have an Excelon 7015 hu, and Focul Utopias so far (front). For the sub, I want to do a single 10 or 12 (if it will fit) in the facotry sub location behind the drivers seat (I cannot afford to give up what little trunk space I have, plus I want a stealth sub setup, not something in your face). I plan on having some sort of clean display for the amps, but again, nothing over the top.

Since its so hard for me to gauge a suitable amp, how would something like the A4 Competition do for me? I like stuff that is a bit off the beaten path, and from what I have read so far, Helix not only seems top notch, but the amps are aboslutely gorgeous and not common.

Last question is regarding rears....does it pay for me to upgrade them at all? If I get, for example, a good 4 channel, or 2 2 channels, I figure I can send a solid amount of clean power to the front, and bridge the second two channels (or have a dedicated amp) for the sub, leaving the deck to power the rears. Sound reasonable in this car? I am not going to be competing mind you, its purely for my own enjoyment

thanks for your help guys

Adam
