I think so, but the law of diminishing returns apply. I would probably just go with a decent monster, street wires etc.. as the acoustics of your car will out weigh any tangible sound quality gains. The only reason I went better was the cables were old ones from my home system. BTW Nice components you got thier.

Thanks, I'm waiting for my JL 450/4 and a bunch of other stuff to be delivered. I can't wait to hear it all installed.

I was wondering about the patch cables because I saw such a huge difference in price. I ordered Rockford Fosgate twisted pair patches and was wondering if I should have gone with something else.

Any twisted pair will do. Twisting the wire reduces noise induction, which in turn ruins the signal to your amp.

You have any hiss noise in your Eclipse? I have the CD8053 and the 37601 balanced adapter, I hear some noise. I'm thinking change the patch cables. How many feets long are your cables?

Fergraz,

No noise with my CD8061. Dead quiet between tracks or transitions in music.

My cables are 6meters which is way too long for where my amp rack currently is. I plan on building a small rack to go between the "hump" and rear strut brace.

With the BLA you shouldn't have any audible noise. Check all the normal stuff, good grounds (no paint between connector and ground) routing of cables around the little box supplied with your eclipse deck. Keep your RCAs away from that little guy.

Good luck.
