Default The Quality of Kenwood Equipment?

One of my good friends can get me roughly 50% off of some Kenwood gear. I was wondering how Kenwood's speakers, subs, and head units compare to Polk, Infinity, Rockford, or maybe Alpine.

The things I am considering now are:

KFC-P605IE component set
KDC-MP825 head unit

Also, what would sound the best in the Z? Speaker and tweeter at each corner or only in front? I've noticed that most of the people on the forums just put the tweeters up front and leave the two spots behind the seats as just regular speakers.

Thanks for any and all insight!

I have always ran Kenwood headunits and they have been fine for me. I personally wouldnt go for anything other than their excelon line.

Just run coax speakers in the rear for fill. No need to run seperates back there.
