Default Just finished part one (pics)

Not my car but I'll show you guys anyways.

Integrated BOSE system with new Alpine CDA-9833 (For now!) via Metra adaptor:

Took out the tray inside the glovey and installed lower amp rack for MRD-M500 amp:

Blurry pic of said amp:

Amp shelf for future 4-channel amp MRV-F340

1.2 cu.ft. box for two Type R 10's with first panel to be vinyled in black:

Finished product with vinyl and carpet:

Close-up:

The factory sub was removed dude to cancellation problems. This set-up pounds pretty darn good and actually sounds quite nice for Type R's. The new amp will be installed sometime next month when my buddy decides on his components. I'm pushing him for a set of Boston Pro65's

Why didn't you put the amp/amps in the stock sub area? You are losing some space in the glove box. Looks good though!

Is your sub enclosure permanent? I mean can you remove it? Do you have a pic of it removed? I'm looking to do the same exact setup. I want something that passerbyers can't see.

This system is semi-permanent BUT not one hole was cut or drilled at the guy's request. The sub box is not bolted down but rather the panels are installed in such a way that everything is sandwiched in there making removal difficult at best.

Putting the amps behing the driver would have been ideal but it would have involved modifying/cutting the metal subwoofer baffle which was out of the question. Instead, he uses this 'hole' as a large storage bin.
