How to wire a new head unit and speakers?
I am changing out my bose head unit and eventually all of the speakers in the car as well.
Do I have to run new wires from the new head unit to the new speakers in order to bypass the bose amp or can I just use the existing speaker wire and connect everthing as normal with the wire harness?
In the future I will be using a 4 channel amp to run the 6 1/2 inch speakers and then i will not have this issue but what should I do in the meantime? It may be another month or so before I get the amp so I want to figure out what to do for now.
Thanks.
I could not find my answers when runnig a search so I would appreciate your help.

Since your plan is to run new wire in the future, you might as well do it now.
To answer your question... Yes, you can use the stock lines but I do not know the color codes or which is + - for the fronts. The rear should be simple.

I am not planning or wanting to replace the speakers except for the sub-woofer. So, does this mean the only way I can install my new head unit is to buy this converter? I don't want to use the bose amp either.
I HATE bose
!!!!!! Why won't they just let me switch their crap out??????
