I had a friend who had the early warning system on his vehicle and thought it was a good investment. His car was never stollen but his early warning called him when his car was being towed and when his brother took it, without him knowing it, to the store.

An alarm is a good idea but it won't let you know when your car is being moved.

You should be able to get the early warning system at the same place that you got the lojack.

You may want to consider getting a GPS tracking system. DEI makes one that hooks up to their alarms seamlessly. We are doing one in a couple weeks.

just call lojack and they will send someone to your car who will install the early warning system... i think its like 400$ total...

regarding GPS trackers like gps2000 etc , you have to end up paying some sort of service charge for a similar early warning system that lojack provides for free...

GPS Tracking has much more advantages, You can track your car anytime, It will call you if your friend or kids are doing excessive speeds, It will let you lock or unlock your car anytime... Think of it as Lojack and ONStar at the same time, But you are incontrol whenever you want. And it can be transferred from one car to a mnother. And as far as I know LoJack DOES NOT wok in all states.

for where i am, its worth it, cause it will take an act of God to move my car out of california within 10 minutes... so out of state doesn't worry me..
Onstar-> montly charges, gpstracking->monthly charges... friend or kids driving my car ? no chance... so why would i need to monitor that ...

i guess nazar u have to see what fits a person based on his/her needs, obviously you have kids or friends you give your car to... then yeah you need gps tracking if you don't trust em ...

I am sorry, I was just trying to show other options out there. GPS Tracking seems to be very popular in my area lately. Most our customers want control over their system and being able to transfer it car to car. It does also have some show-off functions as well.

I have nothing against Lojack, I have had them in my cars before. Good luck with your choice. It is always nice to have different options available to you even if you decide against it.
