Default Dash kit

Guys,

I need a kit for an Alpine 9833. What is a good kit? Metra? Anything else?

I am going to buy the wiring harness and like to know if I need to get an antennae adapter?

Any hints as to the installation or it would just be like any stereo? Do I still need to run a direct power wire eventhough I am not using the Hu's power?

Thanks,
Tony

Dave,

I noticed a gap in the middle. Whats the deal with that?

Did you buy the wiring harness?

Here is a pic of mine with the metra kit.

I noticed a gap in the middle, on the top and on the sides. Is there anything that looks better?

I have an Alpine 9835 and am using the $10 dash kit available at buy.com. IMO it looks better than the Metra kit (no gaps, etc.).
