Thats not the one I was looking for, but thanks. The one I'm looking for is custom fiber glass setup in the spare tire hole. The whole spare tire was the enclosure

 

Sorry. I haven't seen that one. I thought they only had the sidebox and the one under the strut bar.

Are you thinking of the system where the amps are installed in the floor above the wheel well or are the subs there?

 

Nazar makes a wheel well enclosure? Wish I would have known about that before getting the strut box.

Well, I used to have Nazar's box (under strut) with 2 JLs and 2 JL amps. I then replaced it with a custom box that fit inside the spare tire wells.

I did the same thing as arvin, replaced the strut box with a tire well custom.. except I used 1 12" in the tire well. Much better bass and far less rattles.

 

I totally agree with you.

 

I'm no accoustics expert, but the strut box seemed to trap the sound waves in the rear and cause excessive rattling in the upper hatch. it sounded good, but no comparison to a well dynamatted box built in the spare well.
