Alpine TME-M770 and NVE-099P SatNav
All,
I've just installed the touchscreen 6.5" alpine screen inside the navigation cluster and I thought I'd let you all know that it fits perfectly without any dashboard modifications. The TME-M770 has only three buttons and a light sensor, and they fit right at the bottom of the cluster frame.

In the UK, I ordered a Nissan Navi cluster and fortunately it doesn't have a motorised drive, it's spring loaded. See previous post for pics and part numbers...

Sorry for lack of Alpine pics. I've yet to intall the brains of the navigation in the glove compartment. I'll send pics to show you all.
BTW, due to the lack of AUX-IN on the BOSE premium head unit, the TME-M770 has a built-in speaker which is loud enough to hear eventhough it's in the dashboard.
Pics soon.
