Harness wiring question
Guys,
Sorry for double post, but I need your help. Can you please confirm if this is correct.
I have the Scosche wiring harness (NN03b). I have an Alpine 9833 HU.
The following wires are not being used from the Scosche are:
1. Remote turn 12v+ (Cause I will be using the one from the HU instead). This is for my two amps
2. Ground for chasis 12v- (Cause I will be using the one from the HU).
3. Amplifier ground.
Is the above correct?
Also, can somebody explain what illumination/dimmer does? I think it has to do with when the headlights are on, it will adjust the brightness accordingly?
On a side note - I am using a ANL fuse holder (100amps). That suckher is so big, about 5-6 inches long. Where do I find the place near the battery? I have a fuse holder that is smaller (80amps), and my total amps is 90 for my two phoenix golds. Do I have any problem if I use the latter one?
Thanks in advance.
Tony
