Rear end rattle
Besides Dynamating the floorpan area (did that) does anyone have other suggestions for limiting hatch area rattles from bass?

Great thanks for that. I had taken off the upper molding to remove the wiper and motor and did put some sound deadening up there but only near the lower section.
There are two metal brackets under the rear lower plastic panel, do these casuse a rattle problem? And lastly in the rear corners are those two baffle like air vents that allow the hatch to close without much force, these seem to cause rattle for me too.

OK, now that brings me to another question. I used Dynamat on basically the entire lower portion of the car, and I agree that it is a great sound deadener for road and tire noise and it does limit rattles in those areas too. But it is expensive and thick and a pain to cut to the right shape and apply.
So there are areas like the panels around the strut bar and the sunglass holder, and other small plasticy spots where dynamat just doesn't work well. What do you suggest as a light material to limit rattles in those spots? Dynamat seems like overkill there.

How large is rediculous? I'm thinking of installing a 25" woofer in the trunk so I can use bass power to just bounce down the highway instead of using the engine. This will save gas.
