Exclamation non-nav to nav question

Is it possible to take a nav unit out of a Z and install it into another Z that came w/o nav?

If so what do you need out of the old one.

Im saying if you were to find a totaled Z and the INS company sent it to the junk yard... Ovibiously it would be way cheaper to get an aftermarket...
