Has anyone tried this under the strut bar box on ebay?

Are you 100% happy with the sound? How does it handle the really low frequencies?

Got my sub box from Mike today, and it looks GREAT!
The design looks good, MDF is solid, and looks like he did a great build. The box is sealed with sillicone inside and out on all the seams, and the carpet is nice and thick. Good quality stuff.
I will take some pics when I get home, and hopefully swap this box out this week.
Does anyone here know where I can get a mesh style grill for a 10" JL Audio Sub? Something like the one used in the Stealthbox would be perfect!

So far I like what I am hearing about this box.
First question for MIKE
I am really interested in your box but I currently have 2 10" XTANT Subs sitting around I was planning on using. Do you have a box for 2 10" subs. And would the air space and other specs for your box regardless if its a single or double be good for my XTANT subs or not. (hope I made sense)
second question for Fergraz or Mike
Great pics on the wood box you put in. Hows the Bass hit. What type of music you listen. Main question is I didnt see your AMP. Where did you hide it????
I mean I dont want to buy a custom nice box and then have my Amp screwed on to the back and looking ugly and very noticable. Any Hiding spots?? I Have a Xtant Amp and its pretty big
Thanks

Hey
I do make this box for 2-10's in fact its been the more popular of the two. Down side is it only has the .75 feet of airspace like the 1-10" box. Most tens require .50-1.00 cubic feet of airspace. Most people over look its lack of airspace just to be able to get two tens in the car under the strut bar.
As far as sound I have the 1-10 in my z and it sounds clear and solid. Thats with just a punch stage 1 ten which is a pretty cheap sub. Having the sub fire backwards has definitly improved the sound in my car. I had a 12 facing forward--no comparison.
I listen to a little bit of everything. Alternative mostly
I have my amp mounted in the large glove box. Problem is it gets hot in this spot. I had a guy drive up from Ft.Meyers Yesterday to pick up a box. He suggested buying a bose speaker grille (if I did'nt have one already) , mount the amp in the chamber behind the drivers seat and air could come thru the bose grille ---maybe even add a fan. I think that would work out great. Saves on glove box space also.

I have been selling the under strut bar boxes on Ebay and have had tons of emails asking what subs will fit. I have since received some feedback on what subs have fit this box. Some of the larger subs may require hole & box sanding to fit but most have'nt. I will add to the list as the info comes in.
By the way---Does anyone have gray interior? I have only had one request for gray carpet.
1. 10" Fosgate Power Stage 1(6.4" mounting depth)
2. 10" JL 10w6
3. 10" Eclipse
4. 10" Alpine Type R (6.1" mounting depth)
5. 10" Infinity Perfect 10.1
6. 10" Fosgate Punch Stage One
Thanks Mike

Can you post a pic of the box with two tens?
How much would this enclosure cost?
Do you have a site where I can find this information?

i have 2 JL Audio 8w6's.....sounds like neither person makes a box for a set of 8's??
also, mike would it be possible to get the box without the carpet, then would i could throw a small layer of fiberglass on it and paint it? shouldnt effect fitment right, since youve accounted for the carpet being there?
lemme know, id be interested.

The fiberglass should just fill in where I have allowed for the thickness of the carpet. I would suggest going heavy on the FG and then sand it down untill you get the best fit.
thanks mike
