Default Anyone have 12's in their Z

I got 2 Image Dynamic 12's that I had in my expedition and they just been sitting in my room. I see most everyone is using 10's. ANyone using 12's, or know if they will even fit in under the strutbar?

I don't think you can get a 12" under the strut, perhaps at an extreme angle of somesort, but not easily. I am in the process of mounting a 12" under the fake floor of the trunk firing stright up at the strut bar. MB Quart 12" DVC

Exactly, i didnt want to trade my subs in as well. Im going to borrow a camera tomorrow and i'll post the pics up. It was fairly easy to construct, i didnt have all the right tools but even without them my box is about 90 to 95% sealed. Just wanted to ask, does zaino work well.

Im running two 12" iDMAXs. Im not running them under the strut though. Im running them in front of the strut, inverted, at a 30 degree angle facing slightly upward. Im in the process of making the box now. The chambers are being made out of resin so its a PITA to make.

Does facing the speakers back like that not make the trunk rattle like hell?

DaddyPS, you can mount a 12" if you take out the spare and build a box below the trunk..Other than that I think you'll find trouble getting it (them) to fit.

BTW my spare is still in and my box is completely removeable. There are 2 tabs on either side that come off to remove the trim plate and then it is just a regular box underneath. My spare is still in undr the box.

I wasn't implying to get rid of the 12's. Why not build into the trunk..or above it like above?
