Default Alarm/Audio Installer in Houston

Right now I'm looking at Executive Motoring, but the Gessner location to do my alarm. Is this location as good as the Richmond location??? (I've seen some recommendations on here for that locale)

Others I'm looking at:

Custom car stereo (the best but EXPENSIVE!)

Maybe CJ Sounds or Live Wire, but I'm not so sure about them.

Any other recommendations?

I'm really paranoid after Mobile One destroyed my other car and I had to sue them...

I do the Audio myself, but the alarm is worth paying someone to do it for you. Besides all the under the dash work, programming with the remote sucks!

EM at Hilfcroft installed my system about four weeks ago.
I had them to install:
- JL Audio front speaker
- 2 Amps inside the Bose subwoofer
- Alpine headunit
- Custom fiberglass subwoofer
- Dynamat the doors, trunk, and Bose subwoofer area.

They are pretty pricey but I had such bad experience with retail car audio shop. Overall they did a good job, although I had to go back a couple of times. They were helpful on both ocassion

Several problems on my install:
1. I asked them to bridge my 4 channel amp to power just the front. They use it to power four channel so I had to go back to ask them to bridge it. The thing that amazes me is that when it was used to power 4 channel, it was so weak that they did not say anything.

2. I have a custom subwoofer mounted to the driver-rear side($300). They did a very good job on the fiberglass, they even put a matching black leather on it. It looks great and sounds great. The problem that I have is that there is a weird sound coming from this area. I took my car back to them, they put some carpeting under neat this area. Again, I had to go back and spend sometime over there.

3. I am not a car audio expert, but I feel that they do not have the expertise in tuning a car audio. My sound stage was horrible when they finish installing it. I had to actually adjust the system myself.

So, to sum up, they did a good job on installing the components, but I do feel that they should do better on getting the setting right for good sound stage.

Hope that helps.
