Don't know where else to post this but...

I have a device that takes in DC 5V. I assume that our Zs (and all cars for that matter) puts out DC 12V.

Now how can I hook up this device so it can get power? Do I need a transformer or resistor? I'm not too keen on electronics so any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Hey Eric...how did the system turn out? What are you trying to run off 5volts? You'll need to build a resistor to step the voltage down to 5v in.

But what the heck are you trying to run?
