Default is there definative answer: bose + iPod?

Hey gang. I've been searching around through the forums, and was just wondering if there was an answer to using an iPod with the Bose HU...

seems that most people don't love the FM transmitters, and using a tape adapter sucks. isn't there anything more integrated? I thought i read about being able to some how plug it into the bose satellite radio connections? (when i tried to search for it, i couldn't find that thread...)

Now before you chime in with "ditch the bose..." i gotta tell ya, after buying the car (and the iPod, and the TV, and the powerbook) there's no way my fiancé will go for that. My "toy-allowance" is spent for the next year or two.

thanks!

search for ice link, it plugs into the cd changer and hooks up to your ipod that way. it doesnt display song info or anything, and is a bit hard to use, but you can look into it.

look at pac-audio http://www.pac-audio.com

The AAI-NIS works with a Satellite ready Infiniti and Nissan factory radios. It has two auxiliary inputs which are selected by the SAT/Radio button on face of radio. The AAI-NIS is the first in the industry to use the steering wheel or radio buttons to send out commands to PAC's optional SWI-X which can be used to control an MP3 player, DVD, VCP or most devices that use an infrared remote. The AAI-NIS also comes with negative remote outputs when ever the radio is in Aux mode which can be used to turn on devices.

Vehicles supported:
2003-2004 G35
2004 350Z
2003 Murano, Pathfinder
2004 Maxima, Murano, Pathfinder, Quest, FX-35/45
2005 Altima

Note: Plugs in at back of radio only. This aux input will not work if the vehicle is already equipped with a satellite receiver. The AAI-NIS will support 2003 Murano / Pathfinder, 2004 Nissan Maxima / Murano / Pathfinder / Quest, 2005 Altima and Infiniti 2004 FX-35/45, however due to the way the steering wheel and presets control the radio (vehicles with a PRESET ABC button), the SWI-X output is not supported. PRESET A is assigned to Auxiliary 1 input and PRESET B is assigend to Auxiliary 2 input. PRESET C does not access any inputs on the AAI-NIS.
