No...Stock screen is RGB. The video signal from the stock navi DVD is not compatible with and aftermarket screen with a composite video input.

Besides, the stock DVD navi player will not play standard DVD video discs.

I believe there is a converter from RGB to VGA.

In reality, you might be able to.

The standard lcd display has an internal printed wirig assembly that converts ntsc composite to rgbs. If you remove that board and connect directly to the aftermarket lcd, you can connect.

There are only 4 wires RGBS that need to be connected. You can look at the lcd manufacturers web page to get pin outs.

You probably will not mess up the navi dvd if you hook it up wrong

Easiest way to integrate a dvd player into the Z looks like you purchase a portable dvd player and connect its composite output to the dash unit. That board that you didn't need while connecting the navi unit to the display is the board that you need to convert the composite to rgbs.

Its a little intimidating but you could do it if you wanted to.

Personally, I have a 7" portable dvd that I can just hold if I want to watch movies

lots of luck
