Default need ideas

I am going with the new pioneer avic-1 head unit for my Z just because i am getting a good deal on it. I really wanted the kenwood 7015.

Ok I am having one problem I dont like the thought of having a open space below the head unit I know most guys get that pocket installed there but I dont like the looks of that myself.

So I am looking for ideas or even photos of what options I have for that space? maybe a XM unit mounted there? Also I am looking to fill the space were the OEM NAv unit would be any help here would be great also.

Also best place to add a nice CD changer? maybe were the stock sub is?

I would put in a Tein EDFC, personally. I'll be doing that some day when I have the cash... Or you could mold in a couple of gauges for your HKS. That would fill the space nicely. How 'ya liking that, by the way? Running well? The CD changer, there's a spot just above the stock glove box where the factory CD changer would've gone. I'd just mount it there. Maybe spray the face of it with a can of spray dye from Nissan to match the color to the interior shade so it won't get noticed too much. You gonna drive your Z around in the VA winter? I'd imagine it would be 10x harder to drive through the snow with that HKS unit. Good luck with the audio upgrade! You won't be disappointed. The Z's stock system sucks. Whatever you do will be loads better.
