High Level to RCA converter
I have an 04 Touring with the Bose system. I was given a Kenwood powered sub for free as well as a High Level to RCA converter. Where do I connect the converter?
1) In between the head unit and oem amp.
OR
2) In between the oem amp and rear speakers.
Does it matter? It's my understanding that I simply need to tap into the left and right rear speaker wires, then connect a set of RCA cables to the Kenwood amp. Is this correct?
Thanks.

You mean a unit like the KSC-WA82RC? That one allows you to use either RCA's or speaker level inputs. If you use RCA, you will need to use something else to convert Hi/Lo Such as Audiolink Powerdriver or Tsunami. Have you got the power run for it?

Joe, that looks like a standard LOC. You just have to splice speaker destined wires to it's input..behind the Head unit preferable. Then run RCA's from it's output to the Amp.
