Xenon 600.1 and sub
Guys,
I am looking at Phoenix Gold Xenon 600.1 and also Diamond Audio M6II sub. The sub is rated at 800rms.
Should I get a dual 2 ohm or dual 4ohm? If I get a dual 2 ohm, I can wire "series" which should run more efficient with the amp?
Can the amp drive the sub?
PLease provide feedback.
Thanks in advance,
Tony

The Xenon amp is strong. Stronger then most amps rated at the same power.
The Xenons are rated at 600watts rms at any ohm load. So how you wire the subs makes very little difference, as long as it falls into the 1,2, or 4 ohm load range. If you want to do more then one sub someday, I would go with dual 4s. Honnestly it makes little difference in my opinion as long as it is wired correctly.
Dont know anything about that sub thou

Guys,
My box in working progress.
I still need to do 5 more layers of fiber. Also, need to create a ring for the sub so I can raise it 1/4 to 1/2 inch. I could have made the box to the exact height, but I didn't want to risk of having the box too high and later it won't fit especially with fiberglass (no way to turn back).
Btw, this is for the stock location. It has about .85 cubic feet.
Guess I will have to order the sub and amp tomorrow. I will get a 4 dvc ohm. The diamond fits better than the JL 10w6v2.
Diamond M6 KII has really good review.
