Wow, fantastic job!
How did you measure the unusual curves and shapes and then cut the MDF to match?
I have the excellent understrut bar made by MLG9770 (on this board), but after having it for a week or two I'm realizing that I now have no use for the space in front of the strut bar. I was thinking about making a sub box and amp rack that fits in that space thus freeing up the space under the strut bar allowing me to put larger items in the back.
The problem of course is I have no idea how to measure the curves in 3D space and don't know how to move that to a pattern that I can use to cut out the MDF. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

Hi guys, finished up my box this weekend. Here are some more pictures. I just had to add the speaker grills on the subs. i did a 2 layer grill cloth on 1/4 hardwood board so as to darken up the white subs.
Thanks for the complaments
As for the measurements and curves and shapes. Well i started with cardboard, utility knife, blue tape and scissors. my templet was a create on site. I did a half templet on one side, and mirrored it when tracing it out on the MDF. As for making the cuts, i free handed with a jig saw. And for the front beveled edge, i angled the jig saw and free handed as i followed the bottom edge of the board. I then finished with a belt sander.
As for making them. I only create one of a kinds, basicly just mine

Paul350Z is that a black bra on the front of your car?
Should go with a clear bra, it would look very nice and sharp on that black car
I got the clear bra on the front of mine and you cant even see it

Master craftman, can I ask you a question? Do you think two 12's could fit in a box like that? I'm shopping around and would like your unbiased opinion, something like JL 12W3's? Some pics of how it looks under the strut also! Thanks
